Thirty, yes thirty, distinct pieces of video footage of the second plane crashing into WTC. (This is a comprehensive list – all angles covered.)
I’ve recently become embroiled in a Facebook discussion about whether the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center towers (WTC) on September 11 2001 were an inside job that required a lot of planning and hands-on involvement by a lot of people outside of the group of 19 terrorists that have officially been blamed.
Many years ago I thought the conspiracy theories might have some merit. But the more I saw, and the more I found information debunking the 9/11 conspiracy theories, the more I came to realise that in order for the conspiracy to work it required such a complicated and risky plan, involving so many people, that no sane person would ever dream of implementing it. It’s much, much simpler just to get 19 terrorists to fly some planes into the buildings and let them burn.
Fraudulent 9 11 conspiracy theorists
I was drawn back into this quagmire by this 9/11 conspiracy video which claims that the second plane wasn’t really a plane but a round disk. And that they made it look like a plane in video footage by photoshopping an airplane over the top of the ball. (Of course, you can buy the video on DVD from their website.)
I believe that the makers of this video are typical of some (perhaps not all) of the people who are most actively making videos about the conspiracy theories.
The makers of this video deceive the viewers by implying (by omission) that if there are only two videos of the second plane crashing into the south tower. One of them is shot from a distance and the plane is so small that you can’t see any wings. The second is a brief closeup that they claim is photoshopped.
What they don’t tell you is that there are 30 different pieces of video footage of the plane crashing into the tower that day (listed below). Yes, thirty! Why don’t the video makers tell us that or show us any of the other angles?
Do the makers of this video really expect us to believe that the conspirators had so many video / photoshop experts on hand that they were able to modify all 30 videos before they went out on TV?
Imagine if you were George Bush and Rumsfeld had come back to you with a plan to bring down the twin towers and it involved lots of geeks having to quickly photoshop all the bits of video of the planes crashing into the towers (possible 30 videos or more). What would you have said to Rumsfeld? I would have told him he was an idiot!
Furthermore, this fraudster relies on the fact that viewers of his video weren’t one of the tens of thousands of people who were in New York that day and say the wings on the airplane with their own eyes as it flew overhead!

The suspicions of government or extra-government involvement in 9/11 is not limited to “conspiracy theorists” alone. There are tens of thousands of respected americans who dispute the official version of events. Do your research! And by singling out rubble volume and the 2nd plane video it reveals that you (a) have failed to grasp many more important and relevant pieces of evidence by selecting the least credible issues; or (b) you have not taken the time to thoroughly investigate the overwhelming evidence that leads many to question the official story. In my opinion, you are far more guilty of weak thinking than the conspiracy theorists you are so quick to denigrate.

I didn’t deliberately “select” these two issues because they were the “least credible”. I have no idea how they compare in credibility with any of the other issues.
In fact, I didn’t select them at all – they were selected for me, by someone posting about these two issues in a facebook group I belong to. If they had posted about two other issues I probably would have written about those issues instead.
I decided to investigate the two issues that the person was posting about and I didn’t want all my research to be wasted so I posted them here so the information isn’t lost.
As for your statement that I “have not taken the time to thoroughly investigate the overwhelming evidence that leads many to question the official story”, that is true. I have spent a little time investigating some of the other issues and this is what I discovered in the two areas where I had a really in depth look at the information. So two out of two of the areas that I randomly chose to investigate turned out to be fallacious.
There are plenty of other people who have spent a lot of time investigating all areas of 911 in great depth and they’ve come to the conclusion that the conspiracy theories are baseless. Have you spent time researching those websites that debunk the “truthers” theories? Or have you only researched one side of the story?

and there are plenty more (just google “debunk 911”). So please don’t assume that people who investigate this subject thoroughly will come to the same conclusion as you have.
One of the key things that I wanted to do with my articles was to show that at least SOME, I’m not saying all, but at least some of the 911 truther “experts” are charlatans that are making up bullshit just so they can make money out of it and that therefore you can’t just believe anything that a truther says – you have to research BOTH sides of the story.
You obviously feel it was unfair of me to debunk these two “weak” aspects of the conspiracy theory, and therefore, to show that I am genuinely interested in researching the truth and not just in shooting down easy targets I’m prepared to investigate any aspect of the 911 conspiracy theory that you choose. Please choose just one aspect that you feel has the strongest evidence supporting it and I will investigate it and post an article about it.
Whatever reason it may be that the government supposedly orchestrated this conspiracy, it must have been worth it to them to cause so much suffering and loss of life. So if there’s any truth to this, then you can bet your ass that the government wouldn’t let a couple of pecker-neck chumps with a couple of Macs and too much time on their hands jeopardise their entire operation by letting this stupid video float around on the Internet. I can picture you morons emailing me now: “BUT MADOX, MAYBE DYLAN POSTED IT ON THE INTERNET BEFORE THE GOVERNMENT HAD A CHANCE TO REMOVE IT LOL.” Yeah, too bad this rebuttal is inconsistent with the premise of Dylan’s shit-festival of a movie: that the WTC was brought down “in a carefully planned and controlled demolition … and it was pulled off with military precision.” Now we’re expected to believe that the same government that was able to commit the largest terrorist operation in history–with military precision no less–is suddenly too incompetent to sniff out and shut down a little website set up by some college losers within days, if not minutes of its creation? The US government has the capability to monitor every electronic communication made anywhere in the world, yet we’re expected to believe that they wouldn’t be able to nix this kid long before his video ever became popular?
